I am both proud and fortunate to have enjoyed a varied career to date both in the UK and here in the Waikato.  I have worked as an administrator, lecturer, work experience coordinator and most recently media sales consultant.  I have milked cows, ridden racehorses and throughout been a wife and a mum.  Without doubt a common thread has been involvement with a wide variety of people and their differing lives.  Many have had a story to tell; some have been hilarious, some shocking, some sad, some ordinary, some life changing but all unique.  How wonderful to have the chance to meet new people and to listen to stories full of normality, laughter, tears, surprise and achievement.
I have often written for pleasure whether poetry, descriptive work or stories and so am excited to be a Writing Partner with the opportunity to record your story in a beautiful format, for yourself, friends and family ... forever.

Trip down memory lane

The service I received to produce my book was excellent, and Samantha was very good to work with.

My book is a trip down memory lane, and it’s great to have access to the past all together rather than spread around!

An Odyssey

"Samantha was good to work with, and very professional. We particularly like the early history section of our book, and we think our grandchildren will benefit from reading our story."

From Far Off Grassy Plains

My book is exactly me – it has made me think about my life and has been well designed with many memorable photos. I’ve been able to give the completed book to my family and friends and have received great feedback. Samantha was excellent and easy to work with.

I wrote my story as I wanted my grandchildren to meet Grandad Barry

Judy Hale's book Bright Sunlight Dark Shadow is an 88-page testimony to Judy's 78 years of joy and pain, tragedy and triumph ... a life characterised by a determination to prevail against all odds. Locals already know her resilience from the years she campaigned for both the visually-impaired and their guide dogs. This book, she said, is her way of giving something back.

"There has been plenty of sunshine in my life," she explained, 'but also lots of shadows. I wanted to write a book because none of my grandchildren ever met Grandad Barry. I wanted to tell them what Barry and I did. And I want to let people know that they can survive difficulties in life."

My grateful thanks

“In writing up my life story 'Determined to Live Life Differently', I am more than pleased with what Samantha has done.  She was able to interpret what I told her and research further information, making the story more genuine.  My grateful thanks for a job well done."
