Preserving ancestry and family history

The team at Forget Me Not Life Stories are passionate about preserving ancestry, family and business history and understand the importance of 'writing it down'.
Our writers work to a consistently high standard in writing, and that's carried through to the design and print of your final product - a beautifully written and designed coffee-table quality book or personal website to share with friends and family overseas.
Our team come from all walks of life - journalism, marketing, lecturing, teaching, human resources - and bring with them a wealth of experience and practicality in putting together your history.

Natalie Ward

Life Story Presenter

I love a good story and feel very lucky to be working with a dynamic group of people who are passionate about preserving life stories. I come from a career in education.  For the past 27 years I have lived and breathed teaching primary school children in the Bay of Plenty, where I have taught and encouraged a love for writing. Over the years I have heard and told many great stories!  As part of my journey in education, I have led many creative projects that encouraged storytelling, story making, theatre and preserving history. As a presenter for Forget Me Not Life Stories, I am passionate about encouraging people to preserve their unique story.  My interactive presentation includes information about what personal history is, the benefits of writing your life story and some handy hints about how to begin.

For much of my life, I spent nearly 30 years working in administration as part of our family business.  In 2010 I took a leap of faith and left this profession, setting out to explore life as well as my passions.  This took me around the world, where I met new people, explored new opportunities and made many memories.
